Nestled in the tall pines of Pinetop/Lakeside, Arizona in the White Mountains, you will find a cozy vacation rental known as the “Jackson Cabin.” This home is a historic landmark built in 1932 that has been remodeled and modernized for your comfort, but still retains the charm of the original home.

Enjoy stepping back in time in this historic home— which still has the original wood floors, hand-built rock fireplace, some antique doors, furniture and pictures that were hand-crafted in the 1930's. The kitchen and bathrooms have been fully renovated to provide all the modern comforts you've come to expect.
Enjoy the Surroundings
The Jackson Cabin sits on a acre lot surrounded by tall pines, oak trees and native shrubbery. There are also some apple and pear trees and some cherry bushes. It is located on the quiet corner of Niels Hansen Lane and Jackson Lane which is close to beautiful Rainbow Lake and many other attractions, but far enough away to enjoy a peaceful relaxing barbecue on the backyard deck.

Reservation Guidelines

Unlike reservations that are made online we do not charge a Service fee, Payment fee, Management fee or Additional Taxes when a reservation is made by phone. Our posted rates include all taxes.

There is a 3 night minimum for reservations made during the months of March, April, May, September, October. $15 per night will be added to the rate during these months. The discount of 4 or more nights does not apply during these times.

We accept payments through Zelle, personal check, cashiers check, money order or cash for reservations. For last minute reservations we only accept payments through Zelle or cash.

There is a cleaning fee of $100 - $200 depending of the group size.

Dogs are allowed upon approval. There will be a $50 pet fee and $100 REFUNDABLE security deposit required per dog. Cat’s not allowed.

Monthly rates and reservations of 10 or more nights vary depending on the month you stay and the amount of people in your group, including visitors you might want to invite to the “Jackson Cabin” while you are staying at the property.
